The 9 First Fridays

Jesus made this promise to us through St. Margaret:

"I promise you in the excessive mercy of my Heart that my all-powerful love will grant to all those who receive Holy Communion on the First Fridays in nine consecutive months the grace of final perseverance; they shall not die in my disgrace, nor without receiving their sacraments. My divine Heart shall be their safe refuge in this last moment."

This promise entails:
-Going to Mass and receiving Communion in the state of grace the first Friday of each month for 9 consecutive months.
-Doing so with the intention of making reparation for the many offenses that the Heart of Jesus receives.

To those who fulfill this promise, Jesus promises them that they will not go to hell, that is, that they will not die in mortal sin and that at the time of their death they will be able to receive the sacraments. This is a very great grace. We would be fools if we did not take advantage of it. Jesus, in exchange for so little, gives us the assurance of the salvation of our souls.
A priest told me that once, driving along a road in Cuenca, Spain, where there were very few cars, he saw a car totaled on the side of the road. He stopped, got out of the car and found a woman lying on the road in critical condition. No one had arrived at the scene of the accident yet. He approached her and, seeing her condition, asked her if she wanted him to hear her confession. The woman, to the astonishment of the priest, opened her eyes and replied: "I knew you would come, because I made the 9 First Fridays." The priest was surprised by both the faith of the dying woman and the fidelity of the Heart of Jesus to his promises in sending that priest to that deserted road at that particular moment, to attend to that woman.
