There are so many instances in the Gospel when Jesus tells us to not be afraid. Do you think He said that just because it sounds nice? He said it because He knew we would need to hear it – not once or twice, but over and over again.
“I would like to ask each one of you: What will you do with your life? What are your plans? Have you ever thought of committing your existence totally to Christ? Do you think that there can be anything greater than to bring Jesus to people and people to Jesus?”- Pope St. John Paul II
Don't let yourself be brainwashed by catchy and comfortable phrases on your coffee cup like: I’m not a person until I’ve had my coffee. OK, it’s true that you might feel better after having coffee and it helps wake you up, but before you have it you are still a person who has free will.
“I say to you, dear young people: Do not be afraid of Christ! He takes nothing away, and he gives you everything. When we give ourselves to him, we receive a hundredfold in return. Yes, open, open wide the doors to Christ – and you will find true life. Amen.”
